The event series with conference programme and festival, Interventions, took place from 2014 to 2017 and was dedicated to a different focus each year. The Interventions 2017 from 22 to 24 June, for example, presented and analysed strategies and methods for increasing diversity in the staff, audience and programme of cultural institutions, in line with the motto: »Why diversity matters!« What is special about the interventions: During the day, speakers from diversity practice presented approaches and best practice examples to about 400 participants. In the evening, the festival focused on music and art performances. Like the Project Fund for Cultural Education and the Portal Kubinaut, since January 2020 the project Interventions has been based at the Foundation for Cultural Education and Cultural Counselling initiated by the Senate Department for Culture and Europe.
