Our Home – The Podewil
A vibrant creative space, cultural centre and headquarters of Kulturprojekte Berlin and other partners.
The former baroque city palace known as the “Podewil” is located in the district of Berlin-Mitte and has been home to Kulturprojekte since our founding in 2006. Erected in the early 18th century, the building went on to become the seat of many public institutions and today functions as a cultural centre and testimony to Berlin’s eventful history.
Renting
The Podewil has the perfect location for your event – Our spaces are ideal for a number of different formats, including conferences, theatre festivals, panel discussions, dance rehearsals, company celebrations and more.
The various well-equipped spaces, studios and stages available at the Podewil are just as diverse as your events. They include a conference room, a rehearsal stage, two studios and a large dance studio. Further information and an overview of our event rooms you can get here. Our site is conveniently located directly at the Klosterstraße U-Bahn station, which is just a few minutes away from Alexanderplatz on foot.
